Latex coating based on acrylic resins, very flexible and highly resistant to water. Does not create a soap surface therefore it is compatible with cements. Easy to mix with Portland-type cement or sand. It forms an excellent coating or waterproofing membrane, highly elastic and with extraordinary adherence to difficult surfaces.
Although Jafecol has a great adhesion on asphalt and bitumen, the oils contained can migrate and be incorporated into the upper layers.
Ideal for foundations of buildings, basements, tanks, concrete pools. It works as an auxiliary primer for waterproofing as well as a bonding layer between old and new cements.
Application:
Apply on a clean, dry surface, free of grease and rust. Remove any traces of algae, fungus and calcification.
Mix with cement or sand in a ratio of 60/40 although it depends on the way of application (by brush, roller or trowel). Stir well before application until it is completely homogenized.
Drying time: 3-4 hours
Recoating time: 8 hours
