Bird Brand Paint & Varnish Stripper is ideal for the removal of paints polyurethane varnish and emulsion from wood and metal. A safer and less hazardous way to remove paint.
Application:
For more than 5-6 coats of paint: Apply a liberal and even coat and leave overnight covered with plastic film to prevent drying out. Because of the water content in this product, do not leave longer than the recommended time on veneered surfaces.
Varnish, shellacs, French polish: 15-30 minutes. One application is required.
Lacquers, polyurethane: 30-45 minutes. 2-3 applications may be required.
Multi-layered paint: 1 hour and scrape off. Repeat process if required.
Coverage: 2-4 sqm per 500ml bottle (depending on coating and thickness)
