2 Component Polyurethane Varnish is a waterproof coating based on polyurethanes with high resistance to abrasion and weather conditions. Works perfectly with micro-cement coatings as well as concrete, plaster, mortars, paints and wood.
It is formulated with special acrylic resins, polyureas, catalysts and water-repellent additives. Therefore it is highly resistant to harsh weather conditions and UV radiation. It can be applied both indoors and outdoors, on walls, floors and ceilings. Non yellowing, odorless.
Application:
Apply on a clean and dry surface, free of grease and rust. Remove any old layers of paint or varnish. Fill in and repair all cracks before application.
In case the substrate is porous or highly absorbent apply one coat of Sellacryl primer diluted by 25% before the application of the Polyurethane Varnish.
Mixing ratio: 5 parts of component A (Varnish) to 1 part of component B (Catalyst).
However, to achieve a higher level of hardness and scratch resistance, especially on floors with foot traffic, you can mix 4 parts of component A (Varnish) for 1 part of component B (Catalyst).
Mix well the two parts, it is recommended to use mechanical agitation for better results in the finishing of the product. There is an open time of 30-40 min after you mix the two components together.
Apply a medium coat making sure that no area is left uncovered. Apply the second coat after 8-12 hours. In areas with higher humidity it is advisable to apply up to 3 layers.
Allow 72 hours drying time before use.
Allow 1 week drying time before contact with water.
Drying time: 1 hour
Recoating time: 6- 8 hours
Coverage: 0,100 a 0,150 Kg/m2
