Polymerized laminated Tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Ideal for sealing of plastic or metallic threaded accessories in piping systems for fluids.

Application:
We recommend rolling the PTFE tape clockwise around the male thread – turns are indicated below:
The procedure must be undertaken with a minimum tension, so the tape adopts the shape of the thread, pulling the tape to cut it once the application is finished.
Number of turns depending on the thread.
- 1 turn minimum at thread ¼”
- 2 turns minimum from ¼” to ½”
- 3 turns minimum from ½” to 1”
