One component adhesive for binding stones in tree pits, gardens, pathways, decorative surfaces, Japanese gardens, etc. Weather resistant, allows water and air to pass through and prevents the accumulation of debris and falls from a higher level. Highly resistant to ultraviolet sunlight and chemical agents. ACRILEX CA will enhance the color and gloss of the aggregate.
Application:
Fill in the stones inside the tree’s pinhole with Acrilex in a proportion of 3-6% resin on weight of aggregate (0.9-1.0 l. with 25 kg of aggregate).
To achieve 3.5 cm thickness, approximately 50 kg of stone, use 2 ltrs of ACRILEX CA. Level and smoothen the surface with a trowel avoiding resin excess that would remain in the bottom (drain if necessary).
* The stones must be moistened during application.
* It is advisable to maintain a 2-3 mm expansion joint in the frame of the tree. The immediate perimeter of the tree should be filled with a flexible material such as ENETAK 111 polyurethane and rubber or cork, to allow its growth.
Drying time: 4-6 hours dry-to-touch surface
Curing time: 12-20h depending on temperature and humidity
