Two-component epoxy paint for floors. It combines excellent mechanical properties and hardness. Highly resistant to gasoline, diesel, brake fluid and other chemicals. Formulated to applied in a thick layer.
Ideal for asphalt conglomerates, concrete pavements, cement and other interior areas such as garages, warehouses, interior areas of hospitals, schools, slaughterhouses, workshops, car parks, etc., where a high chemical resistance is required.
Application:
Mix the two components in a ratio of 2.8:1 by volume and stir mechanically. To achieve this proportion, the total content of component B must be poured over component A. Use of the mixture within 3 hours, after that there is a significant increase in the viscosity.
* In case of low temperatures, it may be necessary to dilute in order to apply correctly.
By brush: dilute up to 5% with Epoxy Solvent.
By roller: dilute up to 5-10% with Epoxy Solvent. Use wool or short-haired thread roller.
Airless: dilute up to 10% with Epoxy Solvent. It is not recommended to divide the products to perform partial mixes, since a wrong mixing ratio can affect the final result. On surfaces with insufficient pores, the prior application of Solvent-based Epoxy Primer 2C is recommended.
New floor: Apply on a clean and dry surface, free of dust, grease and moisture. The surface must be porous. Otherwise, a superficial roughing should be carried out using a milling or shot-blasting machine. In cases where it is considered that the pores are not open, proceed with one coat of Solvent Epoxy Primer prior application.
Previously painted floor: It is advisable to remove old paint by blasting or mechanical stripping, then proceeding as a new floor.
Drying time: 3-5 hours
Recoating time: 12 hours
